Heavy trucks break. We get you rolling.
Elite Fleet Services is a full-service semi tractor and trailer shop in Wasilla — preventive maintenance, real diagnostics, DOT annual inspections, and roadside help when a unit goes down in South Central Alaska. One owner. One phone number. Straight answers.
- Tractors, trailers & light fleet
- DOT annual inspections & certificates
- Roadside & towing across the Valley
Four things we do, and do properly
Fleet work in Alaska is its own animal. Equipment that runs fine in Seattle gels up, corrodes, cracks and derates here. Everything below is set up around that reality.
Semi Tractor Service & Repair
Preventive maintenance, engine and aftertreatment diagnostics, air brakes, drivetrain and electrical — on Class 7 and 8 tractors that have to start at thirty below.
What we doTrailer Service & Repair
Brakes, bearings and seals, air systems, lighting, landing gear, suspension and structural work on vans, flats, dumps, lowboys and equipment trailers.
What we doAlaska DOT Certificates & Inspections
Federal annual (periodic) inspections under 49 CFR 396.17, done by a qualified inspector — with the defects fixed and the paperwork in your hand the same visit.
What we doRoadside Repair & Towing
Mobile repair across the Valley, plus light- and medium-duty towing for personal trucks, cars, vans and box trucks.
What we doBuilt around an Alaska winter, not a manual from Outside
Below zero, ordinary maintenance stops being maintenance and starts being the difference between a load delivered and a truck on the hook. We build our PM intervals, our parts stock and our inspection checklists around what actually fails up here.
- Fuel system set up for cold — blend, filters, water separators, heaters
- Air system moisture control so your brakes don’t freeze up overnight
- DEF and aftertreatment work for short Valley runs that never fully regen
- Charging and starting systems that survive −30°F cranking
- Brine and calcium-chloride corrosion checks on frames, lines and connectors
- Gravel-road damage — lines, hoses, wiring, undercarriage, glass

Who you’re actually calling
You get the owner, not a call center
Aaron Dodson made and then bought Elite Fleet Services because Valley operators kept getting the same deal: a two-week wait for a bay, a vague estimate, and a truck handed back with the light still on. That’s a bad way to run a shop and a worse way to run a fleet.
Here, the person who quotes the job is the person accountable for it. You get told what’s wrong, what it costs, what can wait, and when it’ll be done — and if we’re not the right shop for a particular repair, we’ll say that too and point you somewhere that is.

How a job runs here
No mystery, no surprise invoice.
You call or send it
Tell us the unit, what it’s doing, and how bad the timing is. We’ll tell you honestly whether we can help this week or not.
We diagnose
Codes pulled, system tested, cause found. Not parts thrown at a symptom until the light goes out.
You approve
Written scope and price before wrenches turn, split into must fix now and watch it so you can plan.
Back to work
Repaired, road-tested, paperwork and inspection documents in hand, and the history on file for next time.
Fleet down? Start with a phone call.
Two minutes on the phone usually saves a tow bill. Tell us what it’s doing and we’ll tell you what it needs.
The shop
Purpose-built bays off Edlund Road in Wasilla, sized for a tractor and trailer to come all the way inside — which matters a lot in February.
